Natural Skin Care Recipes With Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is made by crushing fresh apples and allowing them to ferment. The best quality apple cider vinegar is made with organic apples that are allowed to mature in wooden barrels. Apple cider vinegar should be slightly cloudy, and have a rich amber color.

Apple cider vinegar boosts the immune system, reduces inflammation and fights bacterial infections. It can be used internally and externally in a natural skin care recipe to benefit the skin.

There are many reasons to use apple cider vinegar externally:

It is rich in  alpha hydroxy acids which helps to dissolve fatty deposits on the skin.  Because of the high amount of alpha hydroxy acid, apple cider vinegar can also be used to lighten sun spots and age spots.

Apple cider vinegar contains natural enzymes, vitamins A, B and C, as well as beta carotene, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, iron, silicon, boron and pectin.

Apple cider vinegar can be used to treat acne since it is a natural anti-inflammatory and has antibacterial properties.

Apple cider vinegar is also used to treat sunburn, psoriasis and other itchy skin conditions. It is also used to treat fungal infections, warts and skin tags.

Before using any of these natural skin care recipe with vinegar, it is recommended that you should do a skin test to make sure your skin is not too sensitive for straight vinegar. Place a small dab of vinegar on your neck for 15 minutes. If you get a negative reaction, you can dilute the vinegar in a 50/50 dilution using  water, or mix three (3) parts water to one(1)  part vinegar and test again.

Here is a basic skin toner recipe for you to try.

1/2 cup distilled water
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
Optional: add a drop of lavender oil

Shake the mixture. Preserve in glass bottle or container with a lid.  Apply to skin using a cotton ball, or directly to an acne breakout with a Q-tip.
Leave on face for 20 minutes and rinse off with warm water. To clear up acne,  do this 2-3 times a day for best results.

One of the hottest natural additives today that is now being added into everything from hand sanitizers to laundry soap is, ironically, something that has already been used for centuries. This substance is the Aloe Vera plant.

Most americans keep the aloe vera plant in their homes to aid in soothing burns and healing cuts. But what many people don't know is that aloe vera's healing properties go way beyond that.  This miracle plant can also help control acne, psoriasis, frostbite and blisters and help maintain healthy beautiful skin.

Also vera also contains a large amount of phytosterols,  which are plant lipids that help improve skin elasticity eliminating he effects of scarring and wrinkles.  Aloe vera gel also has moisturizing properties and also possesses the ability to oxygenate the skin tissue helping it heal faster. This little plant also contains 200 other active biological agents including gycerol, Vitamin E and Zinc.

WHAT DOCTORS ARE SAYING ABOUT ALOE:

In clinical studies of whole-leaf Aloe vera’s internal and external uses during the past six months, Doctors have witnessed mitigations or complete resolutions of the following:

Abrasions
Colds
Herpes simplex & zoster
Staph infections
Acne
Colic
Menstrual cramps & irregularity
Ulcerations
Allergies
Denture (gum) sores
Nausea
Burns
Epstein-Barr virus
Chronic fatigue
Hypertension
Stings
Actinic keratoses
Constipation
Infections

...I know you must be thinking that no one plant or product could affect - in some positive way - all of the above. If so, it would be a miracle. Webster defines a miracle as “an extraordinary event manifesting outstanding or unusual event, thing, or accomplishment; and a divinely natural occurrence that must be learned humanly.” By this definition, it is no wonder why thousands of Aloe vera users worldwide have commonly referred to it as a “miracle plant.”
